Managed Software Center for Macs

Summary

Managed Software Center is where Winona State University (WSU) Mac users can obtain campus-licensed software such as SPSS, ChemApps, and Cisco AnyConnect. For all intents and purposes it is just a custom WSU app store.

Accessing Managed Software Center

  1. From your Applications menu, select the black-and-white Managed Software Center icon.

  1. Once open, it may take a moment to download the catalog's contents. Once that automatic step is done, you should see available applications.

  1. Select an application icon for more info on what that app is and what it can do for you. To install immediately, select the Install button to begin.

Application information

  1. Once you've selected install, you can monitor the install progress via the My Items tab.
