Installing Software From the Mac OS X App Store

All students have access to the iWork collection of Apps, (i.e. iMovie, iPhoto, Pages, Numbers, Keynote), but several of these apps may not be installed on your laptop. To install these apps,

1. Go to the Finder and choose the Apple App Store

Apple App Store Icon

2. Use your Apple ID (If you are new to Mac you will need to create a new account https://account.apple.com/account) to authenticate to the Apple App Store. Note: it is ideal to use the same Apple ID as you use for your phone and other Apple devices as the services are all integrated when you use these for all your devices.

3. Choose to install them from your Purchases menu.
