January 15, 2026: D2L Brightspace will release the 20.26.01 updates.
January 15, 2026: The New Content Experience will be available in Summer 2026 and Fall 2026 D2L courses.
January 31, 2026: Accessibility+ will be available in all D2L courses (except Spring 2026) with limited functionality.
February 2026
February 19, 2026: D2L Brightspace will release the 20.26.02 updates.
March 2026
March 1, 2026: Annual MediaSpace purge will begin. Media will be moved to the Recycle Bin if the media was created more than 5 years ago and the media not played within 2 years. Media in the recycle bin can be viewed and restored by the owner. After 21 days, media in the Recycle Bin is archived and is no longer available for use or viewing. Archived media can be restored by submitting a help request with the System Office. After 2 years, archived media is purged. Media is no longer available to be restored.
March 19, 2026: D2L Brightspace will release the 20.26.03 updates.
