Using D2L Brightspace Integrations

Process for Requesting New Brightspace Integrations

All Brightspace integrations require two approvals - one from Winona State's software and data governance team and one from the System Office Brightspace team.

Approval Steps:

  1. Submit a Software and Data Governance request
  2. Once approved, submit a Service Ticket to TLT with answers to the following information (should be available from your customer service or technical representative, documentation is helpful):
    1. Is this an LTI 1.3 integration?
    2. Does this use OAuth 2.1 for API?
    3. Is this 1EdTech certified?
    4. Is there a HECVAT from Educause?
    5. Is there a VPAT available?
