Summary
If you are affiliated with multiple institutions, you will want to select one email address as your default or primary contact. This is the email that will show as your '"From" address when sending emails.
- If your contact primary email is already set to the address you prefer, you do not need to do anything.
- Only one email address can be selected as a primary email address and default institution.

Change your Default Primary Institution and Email Address
- Go to the StarID self service site. Sign in to Profile by entering your StarID as your username and your StarID Password.

- Once signed in, select the "Office 365 Contact" tab at the top of the screen.

- Select a new primary email address.
- If you are a Student:
- Select the "Select New Student Contact Card" button and select your preferred email address.
- If you are an Employee:
- Select the "Select New Employee Contact Card" button and select your preferred email address.

- Select the email address listed under "Winona State University" with your first name.lastname@go.winona.edu or the older email address format of jdoe14@winona.edu.
- Note: This change will not take effect for approximately 24 hours once it is made.
