Campus Transition Team

A dedicated Campus Transition Team has been formed to guide and support Winona State through the ongoing NextGen transformation. The team meets monthly with an assigned Organizational Change Manager (OCM) from the Minnesota State system office to coordinate communication, planning, and readiness efforts.

The team’s purpose is to build engagement across campus, foster active communication, support training initiatives, and ensure organizational preparedness as new systems and processes are introduced. Members include administrative representatives and functional experts from key areas across the university.

The transition team is led by Robin Honken and includes Tania Schmidt, Elizabeth Berres, Lori Reed, Heather Dieterman, Amy Fish, Gabe Lindo-Ardila, Paul Stern, Tanya Schamaun, Emily Meyer, and Paul Omdal.

Administrative support is provided by Kirk Carlson and Denise McDowell. Additional members—including representatives from faculty, the student body, and graduate programs—will be added as the project progresses.
