¹ Course Schema Alignment and Duplicate Resolution Workshops
Work begins in November 2025 on course schema alignment and duplicate resolution of course abbreviations and numbering. The workgroup will begin meeting this month to streamline course data standards across all Minnesota State institutions. More information will be shared with campuses once the group completes its work.

² Student Worker Alignment Sessions Begin
Student Worker Alignment Sessions begin November 5, marking a major milestone in the Student Worker project. Staff from Human Resources, Financial Aid, and Business Offices across Minnesota State will collaborate to prepare for the design and configuration phase in Workday.
These sessions will run from November 2025 through March 2026 and focus on aligning hiring, payroll, and student employment processes across campuses. In total, 51 individuals from 17 campuses are volunteering their expertise to ensure a consistent, efficient student employment experience.

³ Prototype Review Workshops (PRW) & Baseline Business Process Alignment (BBPA) Sessions Begin
The Change Readiness Transition Lead is using a detailed readiness checklist to prepare for the Prototype Review Workshops (PRW) and Baseline Business Process Alignment (BBPA) sessions. A PRW workbook has been distributed to help campuses increase awareness and understanding of the upcoming project activities.
Participating institutions will attend designated PRW and BBPA sessions between November 12 and December 17, 2025. Winona State’s specific schedule will be added to this calendar once confirmed.

⁴ Change Readiness Network Transition Lead(s) Introduction
Winona State University will introduce its Change Readiness Lead(s) by November 14. These leaders play a crucial role in guiding the campus through the NextGen transition by coordinating communication, engagement, and readiness efforts.
A systemwide message from the NextGen project team will be distributed on November 24 to all Minnesota State faculty and staff, providing additional context on the role and structure of the Change Readiness Network.
