Body
Summary
Videos play an important role on a webpage as they can engage the audience, convey complex information quickly, and demonstrate life at Winona State University.
Video Standards
Videos must depict real WSU students/faculty/staff, campus locations, campus activities and events, Winona/Rochester-area locations, or Winona/Rochester-area activities and events.
Videos will be placed strategically so that they add value to a webpage, rather than overwhelm or clutter an information-dense webpage. The quantity and file sizes of videos must not compromise page-load speeds.
Unless approved by the Marketing and Communications team, third-party videos will not be embedded directly on the WSU website, though they may be linked to as an external resource.
Videos must meet technical and aesthetic quality standards as determined by MarComm. The MarComm team reserves the right to make exceptions to these standards if necessary.
