Summary
Zoom is a full-featured web conferencing tool that can be used on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. It supports video and audio over the Internet, document and screen sharing, and more. Meeting hosts can create meeting sites, provide access to those rooms through a URL, and then use the tools available in the room to facilitate engaging online meetings with anyone in the world via a web browser. WSU employees can create and host Zoom meetings. WSU students can create and host their own Zoom rooms for 1:1 or group meetings.

Install Zoom App
Visit the Minnesota State zoom download center and follow these steps to install the latest zoom client. The website will recognize what type of system: Windows or Mac.
Download the Zoom Workplace.
- Windows: Select Download (64-bit)
- Mac: Select either Download Apple Silicon (M-series chips) or Download for Intel (older models of Macs).
Sign in to the Zoom app with your Minnstate account
After you download and install zoom, open Zoom on your device. Follow these steps to sign in.
- Choose the Sign In button.
- Select the SSO button on the bottom left.
- Type minnstate as the company domain then select the Continue button.
- If your aren't signed into Microsoft on the web browser, a browser will open to a Microsoft sign in page. Sign in with your Minnstate Microsoft login credentials.

Sign in to the Minnesota State Zoom Portal
- Go to Minnstate Zoom Portal.
- Select the Sign In button.

Find Your Personal Zoom Room
Each account has a personal Zoom room. To find your Personal Meeting ID on the web version, go to the left column and select Profile. Under the Meetings tab, your ID will be listed. You can also create a customized Personal Link.
