Summary

The WSU wireless network is a new campus wireless network available to WSU students & employees. This network is a certificate based network.

It is currently available on all current university leased MacBook laptops and the HP 24 & 25 models. This network will appear as WSU on the MacBooks and WSU-User and WSU-Device on the HP model.

This network is also available on personal mobile devices (laptops, iOS devices, & android devices).

Installing on an Android device

1. Open a web browser on your phone.

2. Type in or copy paste this link exactly, or simply select on the link: https://cloud.securew2.com/public/02770/WSU/

3. Once the webpage loads, make sure it detects the system as an Android and Step 1 appears as Google Play Store (App) and select Download.

4. The Google Play Store will open. Select Install.

5. A Microsoft login page will open. Sign in using your StarID@go.minnstate.edu (students) or StarID@minnstate.edu (employees) and your StarID password.

6. Once you are signed in the below image will appear. Select Save.

7. Go into your Settings and connect to the WSU network.

Installing on an Apple Device

1. Open a web browser on your phone.

2. Type in or copy paste this link exactly, or simply select on the link: https://cloud.securew2.com/public/02770/WSU/

3. Once the webpage loads make sure it appears as an iPhone/iPad. Select the Sign In button.

4. A Microsoft login page will open. Sign in using your StarID@go.minnstate.edu (students) or StarID@minnstate.edu (employees) and your StarID password.

5. Once you are signed in the below image will appear. Select the JoinNow button.
