Installing SPSS

Summary

IBM SPSS is a statistical analysis package.

Faculty, Staff, Current Students

Included in Our License

  • SPSS Statistics Standard which includes SPSS Statistics Base, SPSS Advanced Statistics, SPSS Regression, and SPSS Modeler.

Installation

Windows/PC

  • If you received your laptop before June 2024:
  • If you received your laptop after June 2024:
  • Not sure when you received your PC laptop?
    • Try installing from both locations. If neither works, contact Tech Support for assistance.

Mac

Troubleshooting 

WSU receives a new SPSS license each fall. If SPSS:

  • Reports that the license is expired or invalid, or
  • Is missing features

Follow these steps:

  1. Uninstall SPSS
  2. Restart your computer
  3. Reinstall SPSS

If the issue persists after reinstalling, contact Tech Support.
