How to Hang Posters on Campus

General Guidelines

• Poster distribution for general campus-use bulletin boards is managed by individual departments.
• Review the chart below for approved locations, the number of posters allowed, and any special requirements.

Who Can Post?

• Any student, employee, or recognized club may place or request placement of posters for WSU-related announcements, events, activities, or achievements.
• Posters may only be hung on approved general-use bulletin boards.

Important Notes

• Some departments require advance email notification for poster requests. These are marked with an asterisk (*) in the chart, along with contact details.
• Department- or club-specific boards are not for general use. You may contact the department or club directly to request permission.

Posting Without Approval

• If you hang posters on non-approved boards or other campus locations without permission, they may be removed and discarded without notice.
• To ensure visibility and compliance, submit posters to the offices listed in the chart.

Restrictions
Posters/flyers may not:

• Cover egress signage, wayfinding signs, or emergency equipment
• Be placed on steps, railings, or other non-designated surfaces
