There are 3 list emails that deliver to broad segments of the Winona State community: 

  • All-Employee
  • All-Student
  • All-University

 

All-Employee Email

Every Winona State employee can email all other employees (faculty, staff, administrators) using their individual WSU email account. When addressing a message to all employees, 

  • Use the BCC field and manually type: allemployees@winona.edu
  • Add a note in the email: “This email is being shared BCC to All Employees”

Best Practices

  • Limit to two emails per event or announcement
  • Avoid attachments due to security and mailbox size concerns-- use links instead
  • Avoid using text-heavy graphics (promo posters, digital signs etc.) to convey the essential information -- write the details in text instead
  • Avoid using a QR code in the email content as it creates extra steps to access the embedded link
  • Ensure that the email content meets Title II accessibility regulations
